7th Grade Course Request

• All students can request advanced level classes, but if your grade drops below a 75 percent, you may be moved to the regular level class.
• Students enrolling in advanced level classes are committing to increased academic expectations. This may result in students needing to complete additional work outside of the school day to be successful.
• Students requesting Algebra 1 must have had Pre-Algebra and passed the Orleans-Hanna test.

Yes, if your teacher and guardian(s) agree that it would be a better placement for you. However, it will be harder to join Pre-Algebra as the year progresses.

• Yes, if Beginning Band and Orchestra are offered this school year.
• If not, you would have to take private lessons outside of school and know how to play by seventh grade.

• Complete and turn in the Office Aide and/or Yearbook application form (found in team office.)
• Maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher
• Have zero disciplinary referrals
• Have excellent attendance

The number of units need to add up to 8 units.

• Your requests are simply requests and are NOT guaranteed. Some elective classes may be too full or might not work with your schedule.
• Please list alternate electives in the space provided on the enrollment form should any of your first- choice electives not be available.
• Schedule change requests will ONLY be available the first two weeks of each semester.
