Summer Virtual School - June 1-July 23, 2026
Overview
Union Summer Virtual offers students the opportunity to take online summer courses using an Internet-based curriculum that can be accessed anytime, anywhere. Courses are interactive and supported as students communicate with highly qualified teachers. Each student is monitored by a certified teacher with a commitment to quality and high standards. Courses within the Virtual program is designed as a college readiness program and are for first-time credit only. Online summer courses are a good fit for students wanting to open their schedules for more co- curricular activities, Tulsa Tech, and concurrent opportunities.
Benefits
- All Classes 1 High School credit (except OK History and u.S. Goverment is 0.5 credit)
- Short duration (8 weeks vs 36 weeks) so must have focus.
- Create more scheduling options during the school year.
- Reduce summer slide effects.
Process
APPLICATION DEADLINE: May 4, 2026 at midnight

Review of your application. - Step 4.
Receive Acceptance or Decline email. If a course does not meet the minimum number of students, the course will be canceled. Note: Qualified applications are enrolled on a first come first-serve basis. - Step 5.
If Accepted, Pay $100 for course. Details on how to pay will be in the acceptance email. Payment Due May 15, 2026 at 3 pm. If payment is late, students will be withdrawn from class. - Step 6.
Complete Administration Orientation by May 29, 2026. - Step 7.
Login to CANVAS, complete Teacher Orientation, and;
Start Class on June 1, 2026.
- The last day to drop class and receive a refund is June 8, 2026, at midnight; no partial refunds.
- The last day to drop class without grade showing up on transcript is July 10, 2026, at midnight.

Requirements:
• Incoming grades 8-12
• Minimum GPA 2.5
• Internet access
• No more than a 5-day break from internet access and assignments.
• Weekly Check – In
• Students must attend orientations.
